Heck, looks like Emma's going to be the last 'man' standing.

Yes hmm and IMO Emma is a great advert for staying in education, keeping the coaches shes been working with for a number of years and not moving hundreds of miles away from family and friends  to an LTA hot house.

Andy has always tended to have immediate thoughts that may be just from the heart and not thought through, though worth hearing so again yes worth having the interviews and PCs that are ( I think a very reasonable ) part of professional tennis.

A few days later, let aone weeks and months later, he is quite liable to see things very differently. He sets very high standards but really did no worse here than I imagine most of us expected and in some ways it seemed pretty encouraging if he wanted to move forward. But yes, he's his own man and will ultimately do what he feels is right for him.

And in the longer term he will hopefully take sone position(s) within the game that suit his goals, both personally and for British tennis. What I just can't imagine him doing is merely filling a role but that he would largely look for what suits and motivates him and that he feels is making a difference.

Great hustle to take that third set, by Cam.
Didn't really deserve it, as such. Fed will be furious he didn't take it at least into a TB
But that's our Cam

Doing well to get a set off Federer.

I came into this match after the high of watching Emma win and I think that left me feeling a little deflated watching Cam.

If you'd asked him about taking a set off Fed on Centre Court a while back I'm pretty sure he'd have wanted more but been happy with it.

I hope and expect more good wins and tournaments from Cam in future, and I LOVED him waving to centre court as he walked on first, taking HIS applause. I'm not a massive fan of the Fed GOAT movement. Great athlete but gives his opponents faint praise and I'll be happy to see the nauseating rhetoric from some of the commentators become a little more realistic.

Yes, decent and I maybe hoped for too much, but I did think this was a real opportinity for Cam, given their respective years and well time does march on even for Fed.

But Cam's still live ranked 32 and live race 12 and much still to go for this year.

Not sure of best place to post this but Wimbledon have announced that it'll be 100% capacity from the 1/4 Finals onwards.   However, this applies to show courts only and capacity across the rest of the Grounds will be reduced according to the number of courts in play.
www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/news/articles/2021-07-04/update_on_capacity_for_the_championships_2021.html

There are very strict conditions of sale for extra tickets so if you've already been/bought a pair you can't do so again.

Khachanov and Korda are 8-8 in the fifth set. There have been 12 (twelve!) service breaks in this final set so far.
