Looking at the Q's list, there are a few SRs on there I'm not convinced will be in Australia, including Jen Brady (as much as it would be great to have her back on tour).
I'm confident Mimi will be in qualifying. When was the last time there were zero withdrawals between the list being announced and the beginning of qualifying.
Mimi has withdrawn from the United cup and was in Swansea over Christmas so wondering if shes injured and missing the Aus trip all together?
She travelled back home as expected. Nothing to suggest an injury but she did have a few back to back tough weeks. Suggest maybe not ready. Replaced in UC by Katie Swan and then Billy Harris also in for Jack. Glassman drops out. Expect Emma to follow in 24 hours.

Any particular reason to believe Emma will pull out or just being pessimistic?

Pessimistic! The only thing that might swing it is that Tim H is the captain. However she could Like JD give an injury update as she has been pretty quiet on socials, enjoying Christmas with her friends and family - no gym work posted. Katie B on the other hand has done a good training block in Alicante and is already in Auckland..
She's on the acceptance list for the W35 in Nottingham starting 27 April - but recently has been withdrawing from tournaments close to the deadline, so I suspect she's recovering from an injury but not quite ready.
Mimi is off to US College and has signed with Duke for autumn 2026 (source parsabombs). Duke are perennial under achievers but are assembling a strong team.
I always thought if any of the 3 were to head to US colllege it would be Mimi. The question now is will Hannah or Mika follow next year?

Will be interesting to learn Mimi's schedule. I wonder if she'll do a year or two of university before returning to the tour full-time, similar to Kayla Cross, the Canadian who took out Katie in Toronto.
I can't see her doing the full 4 or 5 years. If she does then I would think she would just do the spring in the latter years. I hope she isn't a "one and done" though. Although I'm not wholly surprised at her going, I am surprised she's joining in the autumn. I thought she would be a spring incomer.
It'll be interesting where she fits into the line-up of Irina Balus, Aspen Schuman, Liv Hovde, Claire An, Shavit Kimchi, Eleana Yu and fellow newcomer Nina Vargova.
Seems a sensible decision to me - I'd thought she might even go the UK route, after all her interest in Cambridge etc, but obviously tennis-wise, it's better in the US

And Duke is well regarded as an academic "school" (as the Americans call it), ranked top 10 in some American publications according to a quick Google search
