Vasilevski and Rodionova are still showing in rd2 as Awtg an alt entry as opponents. Surely at this late stage all alts are done and dusted particularly as others have turned into byes etc for Naomi and Chardy?

Andy and Katie B or Katie S are free or even Jamie

None of whom have entered. Alternates can only come from teams that had entered by the entry deadline.

Im surprised they havent closed entries though, as naomi and Chardy ended with a bye. Wouldnt it at that point be closed off? Ie someone should have entered then or forever held their peace?

Entries have closed but vacancies are filled by those that sign in each day. As the vacancy in this case is that pairs first match then it could be filled by an alternate on the entry list that signs in tomorrow. However, as the last pair on the alt list is already in, it seems unlikely unless there was an alt pair higher up the list that, for whatever reason, hadn't signed in on previous days and now decides to.

Makes sense - where can one find the entry list  alt list for the mixed , is there a link possibly ?

many thanks

Yeh!!!

Three minutes later (if that) Tara and Arthur win !

In fact, poor Fab Martin was given the complete runaround on serve by Tara - she out-foxed him time and time again, and put some of her own serves past him - quite made my day

Young Arthur was lovely and bouncy and dynamic and forward-playing too

Well done to both !

Vasilevski & Rodionova got a bye into R3. Alts never were found to go straight into R2 and play them there.

With joe and Harriet and Naomi on courts to be allocated , could see one on centre court, and court one tomorrow

Wishful thinking - they are on courts 2 and 18 right now - and they have got all the matches in today (just one waiting to start on court 3)
