Dan should jump to around the 950s Monday week once these ranking points are added.

A great 'comeback' win for Dan. A deserved reward for the hard work put in recently.

Hopefully the next great return will see Willbomb rise like a phoenix from the rubble of the building site, brush of the builders dust and win an ITF event in some far flung place.

With a guaranteed win in the MX at Wimby later and hopefully a win for the kneelers in the footy tonight I hope this can be a monumental day for English sport and a day we all remember!

Love that Dan Cox is being put on a par with England in the Euros :smile;

But, yes, a lovely result.

He had his problems in his mid/late-20s. As he was the first to admit. And tried coaching etc., to sort things out.

And now his tennis at least seems to be in a good place. And hopefully everything else too.

And that's great to see.

 It sort of feels like a gradual ratchet up of level - M15 itf winner tick, mixed doubles Wimbledon winner tick , euro 2020 football?

or maybe a big ratchet on that last one?!

 Except Italy also potentially have their own ratchet up a level unless of course Berrettini does the lords work
