FQR:  (q4/ALT) Alexis Galarneau (CAN) WR 430 (CH = 386 in June 2019) vs (q5) Aiden McHugh 467

So there are 5 qualifying spots since the #1 seed has withdrawn. Does this mean Aiden would go through as a lucky loser if he gets beaten? He would be the highest seeded loser should that happen.

Not all hope lost, however, given that there are five qualifying slots after the withdrawal of Jensen Brooksby (1).

When there is one spot I believe that the top two ranked losers go into a draw for it. If there were 2 then top 3 etc...

Qualifiers placed:

L32:  (Q) Shintaro Mochizuki (JPN) WR 475 (CH = 474 last week) vs (LL) Aiden McHugh 471

L32:  (PR) James Ward WR 354 (CH = 89 in July 2015) vs (Q) Alexis Galarneau (CAN) WR 440

Could hardly have been a better draw for Aidan.

If Aidan had won his fqr against Galarneau, he would have been playing James.
