Aidan broke first for *3-1 but then lost the next 4 games for *3-5 and Kubler saw out the set.

The second set followed a very similar pattern to the first. Broke for *2-0 then lost 4 games in a row for *2-4 and that was essentially that.

It is still encouraging to see how Aidan seems to have recently generally stepped up a level. I think it was emmsie that had a few words about his not so good performances a little while back and that seems to have done the trick 

He has added 11 (net 10) ranking points here to again push on his CH. live-tennis has him at 416.

 Can I just say I wasn't criticising his performance, I was pointing out that while the women got slated for underperforming Aidan was getting a free pass from forum members.  I try not to be too critical in general towards the players form, more the structures behind them that seem to be less than optimum.  It concerns me greatly how many Women are constantly nursing niggling injuries.  It's sad when a player actually injures themselves falling over but it is part of playing sport however the women seem to all have overuse injuries that aren't clearing up.
