Good stuff. But if you haven't got the fitness you want coming into a big event you look for as easy a ride as possible. Bit late for building it here and now ( and this is clearly the biggest remaining event of the year ) though it may well help beyond the US Open.

Good stuff. Lets hope round 1 of the main draw is as successful for the brits as round one of the qualifying was.

2nd set looks like its going to be a much tougher affair for Andy. On serve at 2-3. Tsitsipas impressively yet to lose a point on his serve in this set.
