Shame. Anton had real chances at the start. And was only a fraction off overall in that set. Bit of experience told, maybe.....

But very good level of tennis - Anton is under-ranked, that's for sure.

Interesting first set. Liam tried to be (and was) the more aggressive at the start. But slightly too many errors.
Got broken.
Then hunkered down. And really drew the points out.
Broke back.
Very tight to the end when Hugo will be furious with himself for getting broken right at the last.
First set Liam, 6-4

I'd personally like to see Liam play less doubles in the Challengers but go for it if he gets a chance in the big un's. He's a great doubles player but longevity? He's playing a lot, day in day out when his singles form is soaring
