Also note on that list that Cam is the highest ranked player not to make last 16 of a Slam, and that applies to both Dan and Cam for last 8 at Slams.

It's been a while coming, and he's played a super week of tennis, some super tennis these past months, indeed.

So good to see him in a good place. It's not always been easy.

And with a good team too. Sammel seems a good man for Liam.

A big relief to break his Challenger duck, and it made a big difference playing an inexperienced, lower-ranked player, who was poor in the pressure situations in both sets. Hopefully the confidence boost will help Liam compete more effectively against the Bonzis and Seppis he usually encounters in Challenger finals
