Though Ali is a man already very much on the move. He is live ranked 718 adding in his 25K title from last week. And that's so far a further 3 points for Monday week ( probably enough to get into the 600s ) with the look of possibly much more to come again.

If it's Ali (which is likely, given all the tennis he's been playing) hope it's just preventative and out of caution - but Ali and Dan C have retired in the doubles, after having lost a tight first set.

However, it's a win for Julian Cash and partner, which is nice

I note that Daniel C had a REALLY long singles match yesterday - and lost it in a third set TB.

So it may well have been him who had a twinge too, not Ali.

Either way, Ali won his first set 6-2 this morning.

Was a break down in the third but has just got it back.
