Boys & Girls: J4 Loughborough - Hard (indoor) (Week 38)

Looks like Mimi won the final 6-1, 7-6(1). A fabulous result for the still 13-year-old.

Absolutely !

If Emma gets all the hoo-hah for having won the J5 in Liverpool at age 13, what does that say for Mimi???

Who has an amazing game for her age - although it might be partly physique - she is SO much taller and stronger than the other girls her age. If the others catch up (a little - they won't much!), it might change a bit.

But I was pretty wowed when I saw her live for the first time against Eva Shaw this summer.

Thrilled for her

Phoenix Weir lost his final, but it was to the top seed (French top-200 ranked player), and he posted a good score, losing 4-6 4-6

Mimi is good player. Plenty of power and that was a couple of years ago when I saw her

Mingge Xu and Talia win the doubles, making it a double for Mingge. Also Talia's 3rd title of the season overall.

Hugo and Luca win the boys doubles, Phoenix can hopefully rise from the Ashes of two final losses ready for next week
