This might not be as bad as it seems depending on a couple of factors. If Andy is serving well if will beat Kei, and theres always doubts over his fitness as well. And Ruud is way overranked at 10 (like Kyle was at 14 way back) mainly chalking up his points on weak clay ATP events.

 Its true and San Diego will play pretty quickly as well, which will favour Andy. Ruud won against Opelka last night in Boston but completely different type of tennis against what Andy will bring
