Nice to see Luke having a good week, and still going in singles and dubs.

He's got some big 2019 counters to come off some time soon....

Curious, and very good, to see that one of the semi-finalists here is a 21 year-old from Syria, who is a qualifier.

Good luck to him.

Luke reaches his second final of the week:

SF:  (7) Luke Johnson WR 662 defeated (6) Arnaud Bovy (BEL) WR 604 by 7-6(3) 6-1  biggrin

Let's hope he can do the double.

Dan Added is 22.

Quite a lanky, even skinny sort of build.

He was a very good junior (got to 20 or so).

But has always been a solid 400 sort of player since then, with no real sign that he's ever going to break through.

Which might be a little unfair as he's still young.

But he plays a LOT of tennis - zillions of tournaments.

And obviously got a lot of help and training as a kid, because he was one of the good ones.

So he seems pretty 'maxed out', to me.

Which is not to say he won't beat Luke, as Luke hasn't seemed to be rising rapidly either.

But Added is his ranking and nothing more, I'd say.
