Easy peasy!

Great stuff.  That'll make him GB#1 on Monday, yeah?  And the ATP finals still a possibility....??

Possible Re Turin but Id say highly unlikely. Still great week and British number one, well done that man.

And here's a bit of turn-up for the books:

SF:  (23) Grigor Dimitrov (BUL) WR 28 (CH = 3 in November 2017) vs (21) Cameron Norrie WR 26

Not sure whether that's good or bad...  Dimi beat Hurkacz by 7-6(2) in the third.

Plus he could take Cams top 20 slot away if he wins

Hurkacz is left 9th in the race, effectively 8th with Nadal out for the season.

The current top 5 are mathematically qualified for the finals and Berrettini will surely make it as well.

That leaves Ruud and Hurkacz as currently the two to chase and Cam would actually be next in line in 10th ( effectively 9th ), and not that far behind them, if he was to go and win the IW title. Even if he loses his SF he will have at least got a bit closer with the Paris Masters in particular still to come

Cam was simply awesome and is becoming such a tough player to beat. His nickname should be The Wall as youd need to knock him down to get past him. Cant remember who it was this week on Amazon Prime but they were spot on when they said the majority of tennis matches are won by the player that makes the fewer errors and you need to beat Cam because he simply doesnt make enough mistakes.

It still feels a stretch but you never know and Cam is proving hard to beat right now. An alt position seems more realistic but either way, hes in the chase at least

Oh yes, as of right now he is still 765 to 800 points behind Hurkacz ( he already had a full 19 race counters so will be dropping 10 or 45 points depending on how the race is treating 'mandatories' ). So a stretch.

But just saying that there are 640 points still to play for here and 1000 and 500 point tournaments remaining.

Though, while he might support calls to rip up the IW courts, that would just be for them to be laid down again in the remaining indoor venues.

I am trying to remember how the courts play in Vienna, Paris and Stockholm (should he need to go there for final points?)

Vienna appears relatively slow given the recent finalists listed below

2010Austria Jürgen Melzer (2)Austria Andreas Haider-Maurer67(1012), 76(74), 64
2011France Jo-Wilfried TsongaArgentina Juan Martín del Potro67(57), 63, 64

Paris a little bit quicker given the list below

2019Serbia Novak Djokovic (5)Canada Denis Shapovalov63, 64

Cam beat Dimitrov in Miami this year, 7-5 7-5, the courts there are also known for slowness in the humidity down in Florida.

Perhaps bodes well - Dimi playing much better currently than back then, though, so going to be a tough old match tomorrow.
