Court 5 is where it is at for Brits today, Dan at 7 pm our time followed by Cam , then Dan and Neal in doubles. At least they are all followable in real time tonight !
Thinking Cam should anticipate a win but not really sure where Dan is at and slow courts wont favour him. Plus Kei has his number historically. Tennis Abstract rate it 60/40 to Kei and that seems reasonable to me.
L96: (WC) Andy Murray WR 121 (CH = 1 from November 2016 to August 2017) beat Adrian Mannarino (FRA) WR 51 (CH = 22 in March 2018) by 6-3 6-2
L64: (WC) Andy Murray WR 121 (CH = 1 from November 2016 to August 2017) vs (30) Carlos Alcaraz (ESP) WR 38 (= CH), aged 18, JCH 22 at age 16
Their first meeting. Both played 5 setters against Tsitsipas at the US Open, Andy just losing and Alcaraz just winning on route to the QF. Alcaraz's first match since the US Open and as said has been injured, retiring in that US Open QF against Auger-Aliassime.
This will be fascinating- tennis abstract rate Alcatraz favourite but i think the extra game under his belt on these courts will benefit Andy. Going to go for an Andy win.

I really feel for Dan, he just seems to get really rubbish draws at these touraments, it feels like he gets way more than his fair share of ex top 5 players in early rounds.
Indian Wells feels such a hard event - 96 draw and needing to reach last 8 for same points as last 16 in a slam. Feels like a much harder effort than in the slams in fact. Possibly the toughest event of the season to really do well, Miami excepted of course.
