Feels like Andy is holding on right now In the second set. At 1-1 he was *15-40 down, he got it back to Ad-up and then served an underarm serve to get an ace and lead *2-1. Dont think Ive ever seen an underarm serve from him before!

Saves another 2 break points at 2-2 and escapes to lead 3-2* (After an 11 minute game!)

Andy then offered two break points himself, takes the first one and now leads *4-2 in the second set.

You've got to admire how Andy hangs on in against the young 'uns.

Alcatraz missed a sitter at 30-30 (3-5) so Andy hangs on again to serve out the set and square the match 5-7, 6-3.

A final set beckons!

The court is dead. Just no zip at all. Alcaraz forehand is special, Andy trying all sorts and showing his experience. But its a right old grind

Andy breaks at the start of the 3rd almost out of nowhere.
Early on Alcarazs drop shots were devastating but feels like they are not being quite as successful now.

The most comfortable hold for Andy for a while and he leads 3-1*. A brilliant forehand cross court winner to secure that game.

Alcaraz perhaps starting to show his inexperience at this level and Andy breaks again to lead *4-1

Excellent from Andy as he gets over the line to win 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 in just over 3 hours.

A really gritty performance and probably confirms the view on here that he is operating at about the WR 20-30 level.

Andy has now covered his Shanghai 2019 points that are dropping off this week (45) - just now his Antwerp ones (250) which are also dropping off to go!

Well done Andy! Enjoyed that and felt like old times!
