Its a case of build it and they will come. Theres been Atp tour tennis in la Quinta and Palm Springs since the 70s , wasnt the 1978 or was it 77 Davis cup held around here , USA beat Britain in the final. Womens tennis had the Indian Wells Virginia Slims from early 80s. So theyve developed and grown the resort and its become this tennis Mecca. Impressive as you say

Coachella is held here as well of course and the Joshua Tree album of U2, their best IMO, is paying homage to the famous tree of the desert here.

So on waking i was a little surprised to find Cam still playing (clearly my timezone knowledge let me down smile ), but he has just broken to take the 3rd set, 6-3.
