And with that he is also now rewarded with a new career high ranking. One more win to get into the top 600 as well.

ITF live scores showing Billy has been given a walkover.

QF:  (1) Nicholas David Ionel (ROU) WR 445 (CH = 440 last month) vs (7) Billy Harris WR 636

Think he was already on course for a NCH after last weeks title.

Only by winning today he was 2 places short before todays result.

This week's 15K points will not be added until a week on Monday, ie 25/10. As indicated, with last week's title, Billy was already going to be up to 46 points on 18/10 which the live tennis sites are showing as ranked 605 as against his CH 609.

2 more points added so far here to take him to a projected 48 points on 25/10 with hopefully quite a few more to come.

One thing a lot on here forget about when talking about CH rankings is the players also still competing in similar rankings.

So apology accepted in advance Indiana, my point stands

It seems they've re-done the doubles draw.

Billy+ have disappeared.

And Houghton and Duncan have disappeared too.

But James Mackinlay and Ewan Moore are still listed, with a BYE in R1 now, and due to play Naw and Wojcik in the quarters

Other players possibly adding points this week for the live 18/10 rankings would only lower Billy's live ranking. It shouldn't have improved during the week as he's been fixed on live 46 points all week with this week's points adding the following week.

If a live site had him earlier in the week any lower than 605 that must have been a mistake. He couldn't rise and was unlikely to fall unless some similaraly ranked player had this week been picking up challenger points which would then add on 18/10.

I apologise for apparently not making this clear enough for you. Would you like a diagram?
