Week 42 - ATP 250 - European Open - Antwerp, Belgium (indoor hard)

Well done Andy - I was at Harrogate Town watching us play Tranmere so didnt see any of it. Just saw the final score and it looks a very good win. Didnt Andy lose to Tiafoe recently, good turn around !

 Play left handed?

The Beeb's report.

There is a difference, Beeb, between "two breaks down" in the opener and the actuality that Andy twice went one break down in the opener.

Looks like a classic Andy match, putting us through the ringer, and fighting for every point.

Yes, I read that and was sure it wasn't right.

A quick shout out to Amazon here. I dont have Sky and found myself with this "bonus" station where I thought we would watch an occasional film or whatever. The tennis has been top notch, way way above what I was expecting, the coverage has been first class with the studio teams and insight. I often tune in for a Brits match and not only saw all of Emma's stunning run in New York (surely a "moment in time" for any tennis fan) but last night as my evening of running kids about and homework was all built around watching this stunning match with Murray I couldn't help but feel how lucky I was to have this access. Long may it continue :) If anyone does not have the service but was thinking of it, I would have thought a tennis fan benefits more than anybody from what it offers compared to others?

I think Amazon Prime tennis service is excellent. We use Prime a lot for deliveries and films etc so it really is a bonus as we are paying our annual fee anyway

Totally agree this is a real bonus. Really enjoyed seeing it last night. As much as you can enjoy that type of game!!

Only caught the last few games, but Tiafoe came up with some huge serves at key moments and the game was played with good spirit.
Good win for Andy.

Andy can win tonight (famous last words). If he is fit and firing, I am not sure what Schwarzman can do on indoor hard to him.

Diego is a bit hard to predict. When he is on a hot streak, he will destroy anyone.

You need to hang in on the hot streak and take advantage when his game goes off.

If he has a hot streak for the whole match, you are stuffed....
