Looks like Brooksby has pulled out. Murray now down to play LL Dominik Koepfer

Dont want to tempt fate here but thats a stroke of fortune. Brooksby a far tougher opponent.

I hope i'm not doing him a disservice, but Dan doesn't seem to be having great 2nd half of the year.  cry

Edit: Forget, he had a decent run at the US open.

This is what they are saying in commentary (Mark Petchey & Greg Rusedski) but Andy seems to be having some trouble getting going tonight.  Koepfer just broke Andy's serve 3-2.

yes he looked like the first loss of serve had jolted him awake but Koepfer toughed out the resurgence and it was only with the set about to slip away that Andy finally returned the break 5-3

Hes going to lose this isnt he? I think he just expected to turn up and win this his attitude is all wrong here.

33% first serves in! Andy looks completely flat but then everybody gets those days I suppose and more so at 34 than a few years ago, but still it's tennis, it's Andy Murray,  never say never.

Someone said Dan has had a poor second half - and then corrected it with a comment on US Open. I would say Dan has had a poor second half despite the US Open, which almost looks like the exception. He will be disappointed with how it has gone. I suspect he needs a break and a recharge.

Hes not treating this match with any respect here. Should have been up 0-40 on opponents serve there to make it 2-2, instead hes 1-3 down. I know its Andy but cant see him turning this around. If if he does go out here I think he shouldnt bother with Stockholm and just regroup for next season.
