FAA loses and is out of the running. Koepfer having a career week at the moment, beating FAA and Andy

So while it doesn't excuse all those missed MP opportunities he had, maybe that puts a slightly different spin on Andy's earlier loss confuse...that it wasn't quite horrific as it seemed. But still 7 missed MPs....disbelief

And Schwartzman falls. Just the 4 left in. As Jaggy said. Ha.

Exactly, it's easy to look at wins and rankings and forget that it's supposed to be enjoyable !

After losing 7 out of their 8 previous matches that is a welcome win for Dan & Neal.

Well NOW it's 4

No Jack Sock story here or such as Garcia previously and Kontaveit this year on the women's side.

Welll, well. In Paris, Hurkacz appeared to have the dream draw to get deep and secure his finals place with a bunch of Lucky losers in his path. Well, one of those, Koepfer has won the first set against him.

Let's hope he maintains that and delivers the win as that would be massive for Cam and his chances!

Poland seems to have quite an affinity with the Paris Masters - Wojtiech Fibak won the singles in 1982, Jerzy Janowicz was a finalist in singles in 2012; in doubles, Fibak won the title in 1975, Lukasz Kubot in 2017 and Hurkacz took the title in 2020.

Quite a decent haul for a tennis nation that really hasnt got lots of highly ranked players outside of those listed above

I say that as Hurkacz makes it 1 set all against Koepfer

Hurkacz got the win BTW - if cam loses he will be 180 points behind heading into Stockholm. One more win for Ruud and Hurkacz will knock Cam out of the Race. On the brink
