Daniel is having a cracking week here, well done to him

 This is only a 15k.

So his two recent QFs in 25ks (Sweden and Germany) rank better, I reckon.

However, if he gets into the final, say, here, that will be a nice step up.

Also, Ben and him have just won their doubles, beating the top seeds, 4 & 4 biggrin

Havent really been tracking his progress, seen you mention him a couple of times but it has only fleetingly entered my brain. Not sure if a 25k is always better, probably is, but seeing he was a qualifier here, a QF seems pretty good - did he qualify for those two 25k events as well?

A 25k is always better than a 15k, surely?

More points. More money. Higher ranked opponents?

I wasn't disputing your claim he was having a good week, though

(and, yes, he came through qualis both times in the 25ks)

 1) More points, yes 2) More money, yes 3) higher ranked opponents - most likely but not always! Hence the question re getting through qualies but if he did do that on both occasions , kudos and good to see him get his 3rd best week in recent times!

Long match......

There was an MTO near the start of the third set.

Whoever was feeling a bit injured will probably need a fair bit of rest and recuperation.

If that's Dan, he has a doubles match coming up later......

Anyone know the background of Andrew Paulson , hes 19 and Czech - but doesnt sound Czech?! Is he Australian or Kiwi perhaps, by background, presumably not British? Hes in the semis tomorrow and could play Dan little in the final
