In the end I gave my vote to Andy. I considered both Matilda and Ryan first, but I chose Andy because I decided it wasnt just about his results on the court alone (although hes had some very impressive results, and frankly done better than I expected at the beginning of the year), but for his influence, mentoring and championing of the sport and its players, especially the Brits, off the court. Im excited for 2022, particularly for the male British players pushing through towards top 250 and top 500.

Well said, JayKay, definitely agree and for that reason, Andy was a close call for me also.
He is still in the mix here with 1 1/2 hours left to vote.
Glad to see Ryan win this as he has been one of the unsung heroes of the season. Always just enough
I think Id agree with this. Well done to Matilda and Andy on coming second and third, Ill award them 29th and 30th overall in our player of the season ranking order !
