Are they playing no-ad for the doubles, or proper scoring?

No ad.

Jamie & Dan putting on a clinic at the moment, up 6-3 *2-1.

 Thanks

Is there any news about why Joe didn't play? I hope he's ok and not injured or ill.

He was there supporting the team. He had a back injury at the end of last year, so maybe that is still troubling him. Rajeev Ram also didn't appear for the USA.

I was watching on Prime, was anyone else? and if so who was the young red-haired man in the team GB corner? ( I may display my complete ignorance as it maybe someone who is well known to all except me that is)

I thought it might have been David O'Hare but might be wide of the mark.

Yeah I think you are right. His bio on Instagram has ATP coach to Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram

David played doubles with Joe as an established partnership for quite a while (and then David was with Luke Bambridge)

I seem to remember they were are US college together too, no?

Great start for GB but with what looks like only group winners going through, we'd need a favourable result and Evo v Shapovalov and Cam v Aliasime looks tough. The H2H Isn't too encouraging either but in terms of form, Canada were less than convincing against the USA, game on.

Being reported that Joe had food poisoning and so that's why he didn't play the last round.

Dan is 6-4 up

I have to say, Evo has started this week well, I wasnt expecting that after Abu Dhabi. Funny how he performed poorly there and Andy did well, but fortunes very much reversed this week.

I dont have a lot of time for the ATP Cup as a concept, they need to merge this and the Davis Cup or just get rid of this event, but would be great to see Britain so well this week.

Really pleased to see Evo starting the year well with three great wins for GB.

Very impressive stats for Dan. 73% first serves, no DF or break points and only 8 points conceded. No unforced errors either.

Agree something needs to be done. They sort of devalue each other but now I'm over it with selling of the DC and enjoying watching GB twice each year. It's a good job the Brits are a passionate well united group.

Great performance by Evo,)) a lot of unforced errors from the Canadian did for him really but Dan able to construct his points beautifully. Shapchap no where near Dan's level today, poor from him, out of form.
