3-6 6-4 6-4 in 1 hr 54 mins.

Liam fist bumps and hugs as he trots off the court looking remarkably fresh. Hopefully the taping of the leg isnt anything to worry about.

Always good to watch his matches never gives up and chases everything. A bit of Andy and Cam in his play at times.

Over and out from me. Im away to watch some doubles..

 

 


Got carried away, edited to add he is into the final QF round not Main Draw.

Meanwhile the Main Draw has been delayed..cant be good news for Djokovic Im thinking and hoping.

As expected its Safuilin in the final QF, also wins in 3 sets after a 2nd set tank at 1-6 apparently.

Tough match coming up there. I ll be around for more of my wisdom if required tomorrow night for those with no access.

Murray gets Basilashvili again round 1, Cuevas or qualifier R2, Sinner R3, Di Minaur R4. So a good bit of familiarity and a decent draw for him.
Norrie gets Korda
Evans gets Goffin.

Got to think Andy will be happiest with his draw

They've played once before, according to the ATP website, in QR2 of the FO last year, with Safiullin winning easily 6-1 6-3
