Yep appears so, they started appearing midway through Andys match and were booing him at points. Its the Aussie-Europeans mainly hence support for Krygios and Basilashvili.

2-0 Krygios already under arm serving. This is like a circus, will be entertaining, its a marmite situation with Kyrgios

I turned on the TV just as Andy was walking back on to fist pump the victory. Sounds like another Murray epic.

Apparently what sounds like booing on the Andy/Liam court is actually fans of Ronaldo going 'sui' twitter.com/stu_fraser/status/1483355464985628676 - doesn't make them any less irritating though.

Fabulous win for Andy, who'll be going for his 50th Aus Open win when he plays Taro Daniel in R2.

It's only his 3rd win in 7 five-setters at the Aus Open, the other two were both in semi-finals (2013 v Federer, 2016 v Raonic) in the years he went on to win Wimbledon and Basilashvili is the highest seed he has beaten in a slam since he defeated Nishikori in the Roland Garros QFs 5 years ago, when Andy was still world no. 1.

Think the best thing Liam can do here is just slow it down make it last as long as possible. Nick has started off at a good level but hopefully that will drop the longer it goes on.
