Week 3 - Australian Open Doubles, Melbourne (outdoor hard)

K and K take a 3 set win and into the semis. On a roll. Going to be hard to stop. Granollers and Zeballos are their opponents in the semis.

Brits in action tonight

Just watched the highlights of K and K - have to say, tennis needs that, unreal atmosphere, may have been very biased against the opponents but in terms of what is best for the game, that sort of atmosphere is vital, IMO.

Great to see and shows doubles can be exciting and an important part of our sport.

Would love to see K & K get to the final and play Joe or Neal's pairing.

I wonder if K & K would go for the other slams as well and make a move to try and qualify for the Tour Finals this year - if they win this event, they are almost there anyway.

Disappointed they lost as it was a great opportunity , but they beat their seeding and should see it as a positive start to their pairing.

joe and Rajeev into another semis is great and another win their will see Joe into 2nd in the rankings , a title will take him to world number one!

Good news about Joe and Rajeev!
Sad that Neal's run has ended.

Joe and Rajeev lost 6-3 7-6(9). Had 4 set points in the second set unfortunately.

All Aussie final, as others have said I hope the two Ks win it. Hopefully the crowd wont have as much of a bearing with it being two Aussie pairings and they can focus on the tennis.

shame re Joe and Rajeev, they entered without much form so overall probably a promising progression for them and sets it up well.

an all Aussie final ( and a pair in the mixed) will make it interesting - I think K and K will still have the fans and momentum behind them.

Apparently the two semis were on together - how dumb- and whilst K and K had a full crowd ( and the usual Kyrgios antics, love him or loathe him), Joes match had less than 100 people watching
On Margaret Court Arena. Thats disappointing tbh.

Oh that's a shame, not the result we wanted to see this morning.

Having Grand Slam semi-finals run concurrently is brain dead. And what are they showing right now and for the last few hours?  Nothing. I bet the sponsors are not impressed.  This is not the first very poor decision the tournament has made.

What a shame for Ebden and Purcell, that's awful.
