James Hopper was a new name to me - looks like he was raised and schooled in the States, presumably British born and parents moved over there?

Liam just hit a nice tweener winner. Lost the game but nice highlight reel shot.

Id forgotten Liam beat Wolf 3-6 6-4 6-4 in the recent AO qualifying round 2. So far this looks like a nice improvement on that. No doubt Ive jinxed him now

Excellent - always good to improve on last match against same guy.

He plays a qualifier next , Gallarneau, so should be strong favourite. Could run into Jack Sock last 8 if seedings go to plan.

On the contrary, Liam wasn't hounded by his opponent anywhere near as much today as he had been in Australia.

I apologise to Liam I turned on with being 1-1 40-15 to Liam. He then didnt get another point to be broken and then lost serve again to go 4-1 down. Ive turned off now Liam!
