I'll likely not vote for her as I think she has been surpassed by other efforts in Birmingham (and possibly elsewhere), but please stick a nomination down for Lauryn, Jon. Coming through quals unseeded, putting out a ca. top 200 seed in R1, 4 wins, and at least two of them upsets, is pretty good going.
titles for Sonay and Ali Gray today, well done them; Eliz Maloney in doubles yesterday as well; keeping an eye on Katie B, Blu B, Neal S and Lloyd G to see what they do over the rest of the weekend .
I'll nominate Eliz for winning her first ever doubles title with Andre, beating the 4th and the 1st seeds to do so. I don't expect her to get any votes given the performance of others, but she deserves a nomination.

Thanow TA- can I ask a favour, trying to create good habits! Would you cut the list above and paste Eliz in as the next nomination and create an updated list please?
im trying to get folks to be self serving and avoid me doing it but its a work in progress! Thanks

Yes a stupendous performance. Eliz and Andre won the final against an experienced American pair who are currently playing at doubles career highs of 109 and 134.
I think regardless of the outcome of the doubles final in Dallas, getting to two consecutive weeks finals at ATP 250 level is note worthy so Im putting Lloyd G into our mix
I nominate Alistair Gray. In all the excitement this weekend he seems to have been overlooked but surely winning a tournament must warrant a nomination?
