PS CD - Samavati who she beat is currently 513 WR, was this the player she beat that you said was WR 760?

Samavati was ranked 760 when Hep beat her (see week 6 thread). Now gone up, and ,yes, 513.

Hep also beat Emily Appleton, who was 851, I think, at the time

Jack and Katie are still involved in play possibly through tomorrow, one or two doubles finals as well. Im not sure when Cams final is, tonight or Sunday night? He isnt appearing on the OOP tonight that I can see so this looks like it could be Monday before we do the poll, but Ill monitor closely ! 

 Edit - it looks like Cam is on at 9 pm local tonight , so 2 am Sunday our time ? Therefore, Jack and or Katie could be last ones playing this weekend .

Cam into the final
Jack and Katie into semis

Blu into doubles final
Henry into doubles semis

Isabelle and Phoenix/Patrick in J2 action at semis stage

Enough to keep us entertained over the weekend

On this basis, nominations will close Sunday at 7 pm and the voting will start later Sunday evening.

I reckon of our 17 nominations so far, at least 8 have serious designs on player of the month. Could be another interesting vote.

Cam, Jack, Katie , Blu and Henry all in finals coming up. A veritable smorgasbord of levels, genres and surfaces . Mexico, Italy, Dominican Republic and USA. Lovely

With most finals done, Jack and Katie both kick off theirs at 2 pm GMT. So I will close nominations for PoM vote at 6 pm today and the poll will definitively go up this evening and run through to Monday evening .

Am nominating Brandon - two excellent wins in the UK Pro events, beating tons of top 1000 players (well, several, at any rate ) A difficult background. A truly long way from classic UK tennis blazer-land. It's an ultra-tough month but I'm putting him forward
