Week 7- ATP 250 - Doha, Qatar (outdoor hard)

Very nice win, building on wins through the rounds has been the problem.

The issue last time I think was the long match before he met Daniel at the AO. Hopefully such a comprehensive win means he has energy left in the tank for the next round

RBA is strong and on hardcourt and I think does well in Middle East countries generally. Perhaps he lives there, I dont know. But hell be tough

That said, Andy is 3-1 h2h. Evo is 1-1 against ADF.

Bit of a Davis cup preview for next year when the finals move down to the region !

Andy up to live 88 for now though .

Koolhof and Neal won in an MTB.

Dan and Ken look like theyll lose.

That live rank 88 for now is still down on his current WR 87, with him dropping a 48 pointer. As Jaggy says he probably needs to make the SF here for any further immediate rankings progress.

WR 95 was his previous Monday's ranking, which was the last available ranking when wolf posted.

He doesn't live there - he lives in Spain and has horses.

Well, Andy can be the near hometown guy then!

Any live TV action for Doha? I can't see it on Amazon Prime and haven't found it listed among any of the usual suspects...

Dan is on at last in the "Davis Cup" tie against Spain. Early doors, 2 all against ADF.

Prime usually only have the ATP500's - they are showing Rio this week.

Is that right? 500's only , or do they have 1000's as well?

Presumably then, Dubai will be on next week?
