Some going our way, some against.

Harold Mayot used to be JWR 1

Junior Grand Slam winner

Feted as top French hope (obviously)

But has not really raced into adults

AND Henry has just taken the first set 7-5

Alastair G has also edged his first set in a TB

But Josh P lost his first set TB

Some really excellent tennis in the Jack PJ v Canadian second seed match.

But Jack just ends up on the wrong end, losing the first set TB (1hr 20 mins for the first set ..... we're back to Monday, all the matches have the potential to be marathons....)

Henry P gets a good win over Mayot, well done to him

Anton M beats Mark Whitehouse in 3 sets, a bit of a struggle but got through it

Josh P acquitted himself well but lost to Damm

Looks like I was too pessimistic - we have 4 wins now , 4 more guaranteed from all Brits matches to play; then we have Ali G looking strong in his match and Dan Cox to come (Jack PJ looking unlikely.

So 8 wins certain, maybe 9 or at a stretch 10 possible.

Will take that

And ALi G makes it 5 wins now with a double tie break victory.

So, 9 guaranteed now

And Ali G is through.

So, yep, Wolf is looking good at 9

And just possible a tenth

Is it just me that snickered when I noticed that a chap called Damm is ranked 666?

Probably - but that's coz it hadn't registered with me that he was currently 666

It's raised a titter now though smile

Understandable though that Christ should be keeping a watch on the opposition's number.

Good news. I had miscounted and was following Dan Cox's match thinking I needed him to win.
