Week 7 - ITF M25 - Glasgow, UK - (indoor hard)

Brutal by Billy over Oscar 6-0 6-0. Anyone watch it? Any injury or just one way traffic?

From the ITF scoreboard Oscar did win 23 points and had 3 BPs in all including 2 in the second last game of the match.

Tennis scoring can be cruel though 54 points to 23 overall is still a bit of a beat down.

I think I saw some stats suggesting that anything more than 55% of points won translated typically to a very dominant scoreline and 60% in mens is usually a thrashing! Billy won 70% plus above so easy to see how that would work into a very clear scoreline.

I think the ATP ran those stats from Greg Sharko, not sure , may have been TA.

5 GB out of 5 through to QF.
2 GB v overseas players in progress, both close and one all overseas match to go.

What a good win from Stuart

Excellent.

(Don't rate Damm much so allez, Henry. And young Harry is on a roll so good chance too)

And the youngsters come through in the doubles too

Henry W at set all, 7-6(4) 3-6
Harry P a set up and on serve in set 2, 6-3 *3-4

Seeking to join our 5 leading ranked players here ( Aidan, Billy, Anton, Ali and Stuart ) plus the pesky Henri

Edited for Harry P being indeed Harry rather than another Henry.

Harry and Stuart are 1 each in the recent events, 3rd meeting in quick succession. Ali G beat Anton in 3 sets at Shrewsbury.

Billy and Aidan havent played in official matches not sure about UKPL or the like?

Neither have Henry P and Squire
