Aidan and Billy are predictably playing a grind fest - they have played 8 games (5-3 to Aidan) and it has taken 55 mins, that is 7 mins per game. At this rate they could be here all day!

Aidan and Billy closing in on 2 hours at just 3 all second set. Still averaging close to 7 mins per game. Whew

Great tie-break

Real big hitting from both.

And in the battle of the Henries, our Henry sneaks it over German Henri.

9-7

Into a decider

Wow, and from 5 all, Harry ran away with it to win 7-5 6-1.

Another impressive scalp and a second semi final in 2 weeks for Harry, he is performing!

Henry P ended up losing in 3 sets to Henri S, so it will be 3 Brits and a German in the semis.

Ali G and Anton on now

I don't know if there had been some issues in that match but when I switched on towards the end of the third, Anton was spraying balls around, and looked well wound up.

He buckled down and played a few decentish shots too, but Basically Ali G had him where he wanted him, broke and held serve very decisively.

Well done to Alastair

And a hard fought win for Ali sees him repeat over Anton and move into the semis.

This is the updated wins table for main draw wins over the 4 GB ITF events this Jan/Feb. Ali, Aidan and Harry W are leading the pack clearly with a consistent Billy in their as well.

We have had 27 wins at Bath, 22 Loughborough, 23 at Shrewsbury and 19 so far at Glasgow with another 1-3 possible. Ali Gray, of course, will now top the table at the end of the week , regardless

11 Alastair Gray
7 Aidan McHugh
7 Billy Harris
7 Harry Wendelken
6 Dan Cox
6 Jan Choinski
6 Stuart Parker
5 Anton Matusevich
5 Felix Gill
4 Charlie Broom
4 Ryan Peniston
3 Dan Little
3 Henry Patten
3 Paul Jubb
2 Ben Jones
2 Jack Pinnington-Jones
2 Mark Whitehouse
2 Oliver Tarvet
1 Brandon Murphy
1 Julian Cash
1 Oscar Weightman
1 Phoenix Weir
1 Ryan Storrie
1 Toby Martin

For any of the Brits, this would be a big deal. Harry has never won a title at ITF level; Alastair has 3 , incl last week, but it would cement his form and propel his season; Aidan has won 4 but only one title at M25 level and his last title was that one in June of last year.

Ali has head to head over Harry, and Aidan as well from a match back in 2016; Harry is h2h 1-0 on Aidan.

Hard to call but Im going to go with an Ali v Aidan final and I think Ali is on a roll and will take that , and the title. But its close

You might be right, Jon, but you don't have any analysis about Aidan v Squire.

Aidan seems pumped for playing at his home town event (which is right and proper)

But, although I do hope not, there seems a good chance that Squire knocks him out.

Looking at Squire past few weeks, hes lost to Dan Little and Ali G in past events - his form seems more up and down and I just felt Aidan would have a little too much for him at home .
