Cam is doing really well against some top players but Nadal looks even sharper than in Australia, cant see past a straight sets 6-3, 6-3 or similar here. But hes certainly going to be top 10 very soon, our first player since Andy and only the 4th this century I believe in doing so.

TA rate this as around 60-40 for Rafa, probably about right, maybe better for Cam than I expected

but I dont know if that is what is happening - live rankings dont show 1000 dropping off Cam so imagine he must be keeping them. Would be very harsh to lose them after 6 months or less when others are keeping other points for 2 years! 

 Recent precedence with the ATP Cup and Aus Open is that indeed both the IW 2021 and 2022 points will count for the ATP rankings until October when IW 2021 then drops.

Medvedev had two Aus Open RU 1200 point counters for a few weeks.

Cam did break Rafa at least once, as a break back from being broken at the start of the second set. Rafa is now 15-0 in 2022, this is his 4th title in Acapulco and his 91st singles title overall.

Shame it was on at such a poor time for us in Britain- I think it ended up as expected , but Cam has done excellently this week and two great weeks in Florida and here. Mojo back, 10 days until IW now and in a good place Id say.
