Week 8 - ATP Challenger 80 - Forli, Italy (indoor hard)

I was only watching live scores, but I knew Jack would compete well from 0-5 down in the TB because he has such a winners mentality.

Wow, some real signs of a champion in the making there. Great comeback from 0-5 in the TB. And very similar to the 1R against de Jong - down a set, levelled, up in the 3rd, pegged back, down in the breaker but came through. Like hes come full circle in this event.

And yes, great FH pass to set up MP, Ritschard just stood there looking stunned.

I had to stop watching at 0-4 in the tiebreak and thought I'd be coming on here to see how much he lost the tiebreak by. Wow! What a great comeback and a great win. Well done, Jack! biggrin

43rd in the Race now and only 79 points of Liam in the rankings themselves . Wouldnt it be great if both can make the top 100 soon (my view of by the US Open could be way out !)

So impressive to keep coming back from setbacks. Fantastic point to set up the match point. He does indeed deserve a rest!

And up to 3 in the Next Gen race.  He must surely have a good chance of making the finals if he can stay fit this year.

Caught most of the second, and of course, THAT tiebreak!
Well done to Jack, great composure, and passing shot, to take the win smile

I watched most of this match stopped watching at 0-5 in the tiebreak then started again a few points later . What a week . Back to back Challengers is amazing . Has too try play tour qualifying now surely ?

Such a shame the clay season is so close . Hes struggled on the dirt . Gaining the experience will only help though .
