Feel it's a bit of an odd choice for Lloyd to come back to Europe and then onto IW/Miami?

Harri playing DC this week hence the pairing with Matt.

Lloyd is not ranked anywhere near high enough for IW/Miami. He had food poisoning it seems the night before his defeat in Acapulco, so hopefully he's fine for this. I am a bit surprised he's not taking a week at home after a busy few weeks.

Yeah, IW cut is mid 50s combined ! Jonny and Ken are 15th alt pair at CR of 136, which I think would have been just better or similar to Lloyd and Harri at entry .

Do people think Ryan was a deserved winner in that match? I do.

Ryan gets the win 7-6(8) 7-5 with a great passing winner to seal it.

And he's just taken the 2nd set 7-5, and with it the match. Good stuff.

Brilliant

Always good for GB supporters to see other players wobble/implode.

Marterer was serving well, doing fine, very close, and then - at *5-6 - played two horrible points, set up the MP, and Ryan hooked a sweet lefty passing shot and that was game, set and match

L32: (Q) Ryan Peniston WR 242 def. (8) Maximilian Marterer (GER) WR 196 7-6(8) 7-5
