Perhaps it is showing the new strength in GB tennis that in our Player of the Month vote, a guy who wins an ATP Singles title gets just 2 votes out of 32. Winning an ATP title (if your name wasn't Murray) was such a rarity.

I think timeframe has quite a lot to do with that.
Many people mentioned here that Jack's last minute fightbacks, as seen on livestream, got their votes.
And lots watched Sonay live.
Whereas not sure how many managed to watch much of Cameron's matches.
(Not his fault!)
I don't know about others but if I were giving the award on behalf of the LTA, say, I would take it a lot more seriously about who 'deserves' it and what criteria to use - as it is, I just wing it on how I feel at the moment, and who stuck in my mind, for whatever reason !
I vote in this poll for performance relative to my expectations, and I found Ms Kartal's results a lot more unexpected than Mr Norrie's.
My expectations may be totally unrelated to reality, and I am not industrious enough to recognise true form, so that is another way of saying that my vote is more on whimsy than reality.
If I were voting for LTA funding, or SPOTY, or something that could affect the future of the subjects, then I would vote differently or (more likely) abstain.
