Shame Joe couldnt get through to the final; good list of nominations building here, feels like there is no one just yet who stands out above the rest, the final 2 weeks, 3 weekends will be very interesting
Looking forward to seeing if Billy and Ali can make our list later today.
No joy in their 25K finals for Ali and Billy but both should push their CHs up by about 30 places to around 325 for Ali and just inside the top 400 for Billy. Clear GB #s 11 and 12 respectively.

weve got a nice list of players now, it feels like they are very well matched and it could well be down to personal taste as to how folks vote - these last two weeks will be critical for any player looking to top them, or more importantly for one of them to build and have a second great week and maybe clinch the poll position
Ella won the J2. That's a great title. And breaks into the top 100.
92 (+60) Ella McDonald ('05)
So, a nomination for her (coz I don't think she's ever been nominated before - it might be the highlight of her week )
1. Emily Appleton/Ali Collins
2 Alicia Barnett/Olivia Nicholls
3 Henry Patten
4 Sir Andy Murray
5 Harriet Dart
6 Alfie Hewett
7. Liam Broady
8. Hannah Klugman
9. Sonay Kartal
10. Ella McDonald
11. Joe Salisbury
For getting to no 1 doubles player in the world
Happy to add Joe but hes not officially there yet! As pointed out by someone else , he could still not get there in 2 weeks time although he is live 1 currently. Lets hope he retains that position over the next two weeks.

When we get most of our nominations each month it is off the back of something that stands out for itself - a tournie win, or a big scalp, or a surprising deep run in an event.
This month we also have a few nominations for reaching milestones - not so much form this month and applauding a job well done for reaching the top 100, or 700 wins, so or top of the doubles pile.
I want to reward someone for a third category - sustained impressive performance in the month. This guy had a tough time indoors in the British events. His background is largely hardcourts in the USA. Hes been criticised on here (by me among others) for playing at futures level and not giving challengers a go.
So he buckled up and went for it - he went down to South America, went on clay and went for a series of 4 challengers. And he had to start in qualies. First event , he qualified and went on to reach the last 16; second event he got directly in, reached the last 16 again. This week hes backed that up and got to the quarters and still going. Hes an event next week and not finished yet, so far he is 6-2 win loss on the trip. 75 percent. So far the highest ranked player hes beaten was 277 at the time. So he hasnt beaten big names or won an event but hes been solid, put himself out there, learnt how to play on a surface that hes not deeply experienced in, and in the process raised his ranking to live 274 as I write, British number 8 now. He started the run at British 10 and down in the 320s I believe. Could be wrong on that.
So I nominate Paul Jubb, round of applause to the man!
