Charlie should never have lost that set - was a break up for most of it - served for it.

A couple of really horrid DFs did for him then.

And got taken in the TB too...... :(

Jack PJ was pretty dominated in the first set. Always running after the score.

But made the second into a very competitive set - finally lost it in a TB, which was fair, overall.

About the most irritating match I've seen in ages - do all the hard work, have the chances, and then every single time, but every single time, zero focus and hideous unforced errors.

Tough on the tour hmm hopefully Charlie will bounce back.  Often difficult for those who are not LTA faves to find somewhere appropriate  to train, can end up being used as a glorified hitter. Charlie was considering moving to the West Coast of America,  but has obviously decided to stay in the UK for the time being. Wishing him all the best.

Jay loses over 60 of his circa 300 points this next few weeks, will be down around 200 unless he replaces them. Hes rated to reach the final here, so that would be a direct replacement pretty much and a good boost.

Well at the moment it's looking highly unlikely. He had a break in the first set and a point on serve for 5-3 but lost the set in a  breaker and now trails 1-5 in the second.....

Edit - and loses 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 to the man ranked 209 places lower cry
