Just to note, that this was won (singles) by wildcard, Omar Jasika, ATP 1441

He's 24 now, but was junior JWR 6, won the US Open Juniors, and got up to ATP 235 or so back when he was a teenager.
He was really going places, great to watch
- no idea what happened, I assume he was injured????
But so pleased to see his name back, playing, and winning
All the best, Omar

Jasika was banned for cocaine actually.

He got banned for two years for cocaine, came back for one tournament then the pandemic hit and didn't play for two years again.

How come he got 2 years when Evo got just 12 months. 2 years , for me, is too much for cocaine, not that I support or advocate it, but in the context of a career, it is a big sentence

Thanks, Jaffa and Wolf.

Completely passed me by.

Well, it's hardly a good character reference, and perpetuates a dreadful business, but I don't hold it against him as such.

And he must have been very young, and youth is the time for doing things you regret later.

I still wish him well.
