Which is a scheduling shame as they will both have had a big gap between matches , first pairs to reach the last 8 and last to actually play.

 He only definitely goes No. 1 with a win in semi-final IF Mektic and Pavic do not win the title in Phoenix. So Joe do us all a favour and just win the title in Indian Wells.
