That's great. His opponent's been a bit of a thorn in our players' sides, having beaten Jay, Jubby, Ryan and Jack over the past year or so (although Jay also beat him once too).

This is the first time I've seen JD play.  2-1 with serve, there have been plenty of BPs.

Another solid Jack Draper win. Good week for the Brits in France so far.

He looked like he cruised to the win. Sounded like there were a few British fans out there too, as he got a decent amount of applause.

Probably Halys next for Ali G who is about to break the top 100 for the first time. Will be tough for him this one. Should he somehow win and then get to the final would be nice if Ryan and Jack could step aside and let him, as winning the title would lift him inside the top 250

QF: Ryan Peniston WR 236 vs Antoine Escoffier (FRA) WR 248 (=CH)
QF: (5) Jack Draper WR 146 vs Evan Furness (FRA) WR 283 (CH 273 Nov 21)
QF: (Q) Alastair Gray WR 351 vs (2) Quentin Halys (FRA) WR 115 (CH 102 Feb 18)

This has a GB vs FRA Davis Cup vibe to it.

Matches are on one after the other in the above order, with the first match n/b 13.00 UK time.

V tough for Ali versus Halys. 90 percent plus chance for Halys according to TA assessment.

Ryan is 1-3 h2h and lost twice this year to Escoffier so will be underdog, although it could be close. Jack will be heavy favourite with a 2-0 h2h over Furness.
