Week 13 - ATP Challenger 80 - Saint-Brieuc, France (indoor hard)

Absolutely.

The odds are spot on.

Jack will trounce Evan - 1.12 v 6

Quentin should be way too good for Ali (but he occasionally has a howler) - 1.28 v 3.5

Escoffier v Ryan is basically neck and neck, with Escoffier the very slight favourite - 1.72 v 2

Escoffier started the year well, beat all the Brits to win Shrewsbury. And had an excellent win in Pau last week (2 top 200 wins)
But he's lost to Anton, and Stuart Parker and some Italian ranked about 750 in the past couple of months too

Two double faults in one game - not surprising that Ryan gets broken.... :(

Another rankings rise for Ryan but if he had been beating Escoffier this year he'd be top 200!

Jack wins 6-2, 6-1. Needs tpo give the others a chance a bit :)

I just saw the end of Jack's match. He looks very comfortable at this level now. It surely can't be long until he's playing regularly on the tour? Hopefully he'll do well on the clay and make some progress in RG qualifying.

Yeah, Evan was never going to have anything to trouble Jack.....

Tranquille, as the French would say

I wonder if Jack will choose challengers or main tour qualies when the clay starts?

When the grass starts I hope he plays at Surbiron which is just down the road from me.

At the moment hes just entered into Split in two weeks time, which is indoor hard I think, certainly hard, so his plans arent clear

A decent effort by Ali G

I had no doubt that Quentin was going to win, but that's a good score

Ali lost 3-6 5-7

Jack up to #48 in the race. 4 Brits in the top 50.

12. Cam 920
28. Dan 425
39. Andy 355
48. Jack 311 - would be up to 361 if he won the title here.

Jack should be in the next gen tournament at the end of the year, should he want to if he continues like this

Jack is effectively 1st or 2nd in the next gen- he should play it. Alcaraz will qualify for tour finals (he will be top 5 by year end IMO), Sinner may also.

Liam is also 94th in Race. Happy days
