Well, he did make the Monte Carlo semis last year though and beat Djoko so he can handle them for sure.

Pretty much first time he won a couple of matches back to back on clay - he doesn't play well on it, it doesn't suit his game, of course he can have a run, but it's no surprise if he doesn't

Goffin:
tripped over the tarp on court in the French Open (2017)
Hit in eye by a ball coming off his racket (2018)
Slipped on grass in Halle (2021) - not bizzare but did mean he missed a part of the rest of the season and cut it short for a knee injury in Sept.
