Week 15 - ATP 1000 - Monte Carlo, Monaco (outdoor clay)

Following a semis double last year, and a good start this year, perhaps Dan should look to swap the Dubai lifestyle for Monte Carlo - assuming he passes the entry tests!

Did anyone else notice, I think Hugo Nys, having a go a Dan at the net after they'd shook Umpire's hand. Bit of a shame as Dan and Diego were really happy and smiling until then.

Jamie against Fritz and Korda will be interesting. Going to favour the Americans to win , Im afraid

Cam is at 3 all opening set. Ramos Vinolas won one of the South American ATP250 clay court events at beginning of Feb so clearly knows his way around a clay court

You're never telling me a Spaniard knows his way around a clay court!?

ARV has reached 12 singles finals and 11 of them have been on clay. He best Cam in the final in Estoril in 2021 and has reached the final in MC before (lost heavily to Rafa).

And Evo goes down in 2 sets. Leaves us with Joe, Jamie and Dan in doubles only this week.

Although it came at Dan's expense, I am here for the Goffin resurgence.

Presumably because Diego S has reached the quarterfinals and wants to focus on that.

Jamie and Bopanna won over Fritz and Korda and reach the last 8, though.

Jamie, of course, is with Dan as a pairing in Barca next week
