Dan and Diego give a walkover in the doubles

Presumably because Diego S has reached the quarterfinals and wants to focus on that.

Jamie and Bopanna won over Fritz and Korda and reach the last 8, though.

Jamie, of course, is with Dan as a pairing in Barca next week

I think your guess is exactly right. The PDF of the doubles draw states "Fatigue" for Diego's withdrawal.

Dan playing with Jamie is an interesting prospect!  Is this going to be anymore than a one off?

Unrelated, but I have just noticed that the grass court challengers at Surbiton, Nottiingham and Ilkley are all 125K events.

Understandable, but  I had really been looking forward to that match.

Joe and Jamie go off at 1030 BST today. Jamie hasnt won a Masters since August 2018 (Cinci) and a win today would take him back above Neal and to 17th in the rankings.

Much as I like Joe, I feel Jamie winning would be more important and
So Ill support him and Rohan.

In addition to his 2 slam wins, Joe has only won one masters series, Canada last year, and only one other final (Rome last year). So this week is a great week already and a title today would be massive.

On at 1030 am BST

Its easy to take for granted these big finals for Joe as he is number one right now, but he really hasnt had many yet. So everyone should be celebrated . Go Joe and Rajeev
