I thought the ATP president said challengers lacked the engagements of fans?

Interesting contrast of styles - heavy ground strokes from AMM which sometimes hit the lines and corners but Jay clearly had the more variety.

It has to be said that some of the opposition wasn't the toughest this week, with only one of his 5 vanquished opponents ranked inside the top 300, but never mind. Wins have been in short supply in recent months so hopefully this title will give him the confidence to build up a head of steam and move on up the rankings.

Good to see Jay get a few consecutive wins under his belt and grab the title! . Fair to say he didnt have to face any really tough apposition. Lets hope he can gain some confidence from this week!
