What, I've been away from the forum for three days and I missed the return of StirCrazy? So lovely to have you back, and judging from this thread and others, it's already as if you had never been away

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
I hadnt really appreciated that 7 of the top 8 seeds made the singles last 8 here, the outsider being the 12th seeded Hurkacz.
I always feel that when the top seeds are doing well in the mens game that some big matches are going to happen at the business end of the event, that all the players must be playing too form. Maybe not the case for Djoko yet, but that said, he looked sharp in beating Hurkcz today (meaning the last 7 players are all top 8 seeds)
Really good win for Jamie and a good event for him so far - he and Venus have done pretty well together on the clay, shame he has to play with Bruno again next week!!
Pleased Alcaraz beat Rafa. Not because of any dislike of Rafa but it would be disheartening if Rafa won this tournie after injury, in terms of a competitive French Open!
