Week 18 - ATP 1000 - Madrid, Spain (outdoor clay)

I wonder if Andy will take this as a sign to play not only Rome but also give RG a go as well, or whether he will stay true to his original plan?

Seems strange to me that Andy is playing again today but Evo isn't even though he played the day before Andy. Unless I've missed something.

yeh, that struck me also. I dont think Evo's opponents (RBA or Brooksby) have played yet though so hence the delay for Evo.

Madrid, though, often has strange scheduling structures!!

Wouldn't surprise me especially if the British grass season doesn't happen in terms of ATP points.

L28:  (8) Jamie Murray & Michael Venus (NZL) CR 27 (18+9) defeated (WC) Petros Tsitsipas & Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE/GRE) CR 278 (201+77) by 6-2 3-6 [10-7]

Touch & go in the MTB for a while:  the boys kept slipping the odd point behind in the early stages.

Soooo close - looks like it was a great effort though by Jack. What is career he could have!

L32:  (6) Andrey Rublev (RUS) WR 8 beat (CH = 5 last September) vs (WC) Jack Draper WR 121 (=CH) by 2-6 6-4 7-5

Jack was broken back in the 5th game of the 3rd set, so not really close to the finishing line, and then again in the 11th game. Yes, does look a great effort.
